Project Overview
We are proud that this is our second project with this client and shows that quality workmanship and management is valued. The Barn buildings sit on a hillside overlooking Port Isaac Bay on the Cornish coast and within an area of outstanding beauty.
The brief is to partially demolish the old barn buildings and build a new house that links the retained structures together to create a beautiful single storey building with a mix of pitched and flat roofs. The new building will be clad in timber and slate, leaving elements of the original stone walls visible from certain aspects. The interior space will have double volume spaces within the pitched roof areas and benefit from all new heating and electrical systems. The clients will enjoy the spectacular views from the newly glazed openings which can be opened onto private patios to enjoy the sunshine.
